Non-Dual Reiki

Imagine you are sitting on a bench in a park. It’s a sunny day. There are trees, a few people walking their dogs, a couple of parents with kids, some insects in the grass, flowers everywhere, you can see a small rock garden….

You sit in meditation on the bench, yet your eyes are open. You see everything and yet there is no attachment to what you see; you are in that open state of mind. At that same time, you feel a deep interconnectedness with everything around you. Reiki, your bright light, flows…. Your intent is that everything takes from this deep interconnectedness whatever they want, whatever they may need.

Now when you see the people in the park, you are not going to label the Reiki, the interconnectedness with the people “human Reiki”, are you? And when you see the tree you are not going to label it tree Reiki, when you see the parents you are not going to label it parents Reiki, when you see the dogs you are not going to label it animal Reiki, when you see the kids you are not going to label it kids Reiki, when you see the grass you are not going to label it grass Reiki, when you see the insects you are not going to label it insect Reiki, when you see the rocks you are not going to label it rock Reiki, and when you see the flowers you are not going to label it flower Reiki. Are you? I don’t imagine you are…

Because if we do that, we label and judge. And if our mind is in a place where we label and judge, we are not in that open state of non-dual mind anymore. We have traveled to a place of duality: I / you, tall / small, etc.

So instead of traveling to a narrow place of comparisons, you are just going to be Reiki and stay in that open state of mind of interconnectedness. This is the non-dual state of Reiki in which our open expanded mind feels this deep interconnectedness with all that is, and so everything can benefit from this state of mind. That is the real state of Being Reiki.
