Reiki Associations offer a place of community as well as a setting of standards of ethics and practices.
Teachers, Frans and Bronwen Stiene, of the International House of Reiki, are co-founders of Shibumi International Reiki Association, an association that aims to support and promote the Japanese art of the system of Reiki.
Shibumi International Reiki Association
Shibumi is a professional international Reiki association. It aims to support and promote the Japanese art of the system of Reiki.
To fulfil its aims, Shibumi brings together Reiki practitioners from all walks of life and from multitudes of countries. These Reiki practitioners have one main thing in common – they focus on working with the Japanese origins of the system as the foundation of their work.
This Reiki association provides education guidelines for its prospective members and the general public to provide a better understanding of what it means to practice the system of Reiki from a Japanese perspective.
Research into the system of Reiki will also be supported by Shibumi to support a greater understanding in the community of the benefits of this spiritual practice.
The system of Reiki has become known as a wide variety of practices – but do these practices actually relate back to the understandings of the system’s founder Usui Mikao? Shibumi focuses on the roots of the system of Reiki, finding in them a strong foundation and inherent depth of knowledge and truth.
At Shibumi you will find quality standards for practitioners and teachers to uphold and information informing you of what you can expect from a professional Reiki treatment or Reiki course by Shibumi registered practitioners.
