DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nLearn very specific meditations that will help you gain a better understanding of Mikao Usui’s teachings and noticeably deepen your Reiki and/or Meditation journey. \nFrans Stiene will also hold an expanded space so you can have a direct experience of your own inner light.\n \nThe game plan: \nFrans has been hosting these Reiki Retreats for many years now and infuses them with great humour\, knowledge of Japanese spiritual teachings\, and his own depth of practice. \nThe sessions will focus on esoteric Japanese practices and techniques to stimulate and define your Reiki practice. They will also deepen your understanding of the Reiki symbols and mantras. \nThese teachings are very unique and not often taught by many modern meditation teachers. Some of these are ancient Japanese spiritual traditions that can be traced back to the 7th and 8th century. \nThey include:\n-sitting meditation – mindfulness practice\, chanting\, moving your energy\n-moving meditation – walking meditation for example\n-sitting/moving meditations – old ancient Shinto\, Shugendo\, and Buddhist practices \nDue to Frans’ personal journey\, he often includes some 4000-year-old Wu (Chinese: shamanic) practices within these retreats. He was taught these ancient teachings by his late Taoist Master. \nSome of the practices include the whole group\, while others are in pairs or in smaller groups. \nBe advised: if you sit near Frans during the practice sessions\, you may become his favorite prop to demonstrate exercises. This may cause you to laugh harder than usual. As the word implies a deeper understanding and connection to Usui Mikao’s teachings is achieved during this course. \nThis level teaches how to connect to Earth and Heaven energy\, the first steps to becoming fully integrated with the universe. This is achieved through the practise of shirushi (symbols) and jumon (mantras). It will enable the student to enhance his/her own energy levels and sensitivity. There are many aspects to the shirushi and jumon which include chanting and visualisation techniques. Rather than being external tools – the focus here is on internal use for spiritual development. \nA vegetarian lunch is included in the course fee.
