DESCRIPTION:Pre-Requisites: All lineages and Reiki Levels Welcome\n\nJoin Frans Stiene for a unique kind of retreat at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square\, PA. \n\nLearn four very specific meditations that will help you gain a better understanding of Mikao Usui’s teachings and noticeably deepen your Reiki and/or Meditation journey.\n\nUsually\, Frans only teaches these meditations one on one!\n\nHe will also hold an expanded space so you can have a direct experience of your own inner light.\n\nWhen:\nOctober 11\, 9:00 am to October 14\, 5:00 pm\n\nThe game plan:\n\nFrans has been hosting these Reiki Retreats for many years now and infuses them with great humour\, knowledge of Japanese spiritual teachings\, and his own depth of practice.\n\nArrive Friday morning and leave Monday afternoon for four-full days of immersion in deep spiritually energetic work.\n\nWe will practice three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon\, with lots of time in the evening to share healing\, stories\, and fun with your fellow participants.\n\nThe sessions will focus on esoteric Japanese practices and techniques to stimulate and define your Reiki practice. They will also deepen your understanding of the Reiki symbols and mantras.\n\nThese teachings are very unique and not often taught by many modern meditation teachers. Some of these are ancient Japanese spiritual traditions that can be traced back to the 7th and 8th century. They include:\n\n    -sitting meditation – mindfulness practice\, chanting\, moving your energy\n    -moving meditation – walking meditation for example\n    -sitting/moving meditations – old ancient Shinto\, Shugendo\, and Buddhist practices\n\nDue to Frans’ personal journey\, he often includes some 4000-year-old Wu (Chinese: shamanic) practices within these retreats. He was taught these ancient teachings by his late Taoist Master.\n\nSome of the practices include the whole group\, while others are in pairs or in smaller groups.\n\nBe advised: if you sit near Frans during the practice sessions\, you may become his favorite prop to demonstrate exercises. This may cause you to laugh harder than usual. You could read a book on it or be told all about it but it is the actual experience itself that teaches you. \nTherefore a complete treatment is given and received by each participating student and many hands-on exercises are used in a group environment during Shoden.
