You could read a book on it or be told all about it but it is the actual experience itself that teaches you. \nTherefore a complete treatment is given and received by each participating student and many hands-on exercises are used in a group environment during Shoden. They will also deepen your understanding of the Reiki symbols and mantras. \nThese teachings are very unique and not often taught by many modern meditation teachers. Some of these are ancient Japanese spiritual traditions that can be traced back to the 7th and 8th century.
