Hi Frans and Bronwen
What I get out of practising the system of reiki is a deep sence of peace and love.
The abililty to help myself and others.
To share what i have learnt with others.
The teachings Frans has given has enabled me to go deeper in my own practise and growth.
Thank you
Love and Light
Mary
As a Reiki Master, I practice self-reiki on a daily basis-and I have never felt so much peace and calm. Reiki just confirms to me that indeed, we are connected to the infinite healing power of the universe.
Reiki has helped reduce the stress, anxiety, and worries for me and my kids. We communicate and get along so much better than before I started. It gets better as I continually self heal, practice on others, accept and forgive.
When you give one you get one! So the more Reiki love I spread the more Reiki love I receive by being the channel. A peaceful and blissful two way street xxx
What do I get from my Reiki practice? Peace, strength, trust in the process.
Enjoying practicing Reiki because it is always there when I need it.
Also, it is a pretty “challenge” it always brings new experience. Believe there is no end !
Prove it self as the life tutor 24/7 anywhere I am. Ewen if I do not ask it go by self where is need the most, to me or to the others.
Thank you
Miro
My practice of Reiki gives me the knowing that I am part of a huge family from all over the world. It gives me the feeling of safety inside my own being. It gives me the opportunity to give and receive but mostly it gives me a deep sense of mystery and unconditional love.
To find one’s true life Way is surely the highest blessing the universe can bestow. I was reminded of this while watching the movie “Zen” again last night, the beautiful story of the founder of Soto Zen, Dogen Zenji (which I first encountered thanks to your recommendation, Frans, and will be forever grateful). Putting and keeping my feet on the path, always growing through practice and learning, always shedding that which is unnecessary and purifying, simplifying my practice, trying each day to live the Precepts, accepting with humility the gifts the Reiki Way abundantly bestows: This is the gift Usui Founder gave us, that there will always be a next step, that we will always find the path beneath our feet as long as we have life. Satori, enlightenment, is a side effect; as Dogen’s Chinese master teacher told him, ignore your enlightenment and continue your practice. As Dogen’s inspiration, the monastery cook, reminded him, putting heart, soul and mind into whatever activity you undertake IS Zen, and it is Reiki also. (I love cooking, so I can relate.) As you often say, “What a wonderful journey!” If we focus on the journey rather than its destination, then we have mastered the secret of Reiki, the secret of happiness and health, which is simply living fully in the now.
As a Reiki Master I still continue to self heal. I love the peace it brings me when going through so many changes myself.
I love sharing/offering Reiki and my knowledge up to this date. I love seeing my friends, family and clients go through positive changes (self-growth). When we change ourselves, the world around us changes. It feels safe. I feel safe.
For me Reiki first and foremost is a spiritual practice that came into my life when I needed something that was less cerebral, doctrinal, and more experiential. It was more aligned with the mystical/esoteric side of spirituality that included the body as part of our spiritual life, not just for healing, but for a felt sense of Inner Presence, a Living Ki or Reiki. So when I practice Reiki whether for myself on on behalf of someone else, I ALWAYS benefit.
Having the practices to fall into is a powerful yet light aspect of fully encountering ourselves. The meditations and techniques offer a grounding dimension that extends our commitment beyond just the physical hands on practices so many of us have done for ages. Engaging a discipline, not just one aspect of the system of Reiki has altered my connection with heaven and earth.
When I first started to practice the system of Reiki I started to feel an improvement in my back pain, from which I suffered since I was 16. I also started to have interesting clearing/purification dreams but only felt the benefit of these later. After many years of practicing I feel that for me the system of Reiki has improved my physical health, my emotional well being, and also has taken me a closer step to re-discovering my true-self.
I feel that I am now much stronger then than when I was, say, 27 years old. Stronger in a sense of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
When I was introduced to a system of Reiki I had already been practicing another form of energy medicine for almost 10 years. This method afforded me a means to help my patients on a deeper non-invasive level but I could not connect personally to the tools meant for self-development. As a result I would over extend myself and not be consistent in the energy work.
The Reiki method, on the other hand, offered an approach that strengthened my personal practice and focus. The self-development tools have brought me deeper into the energy work and closer to recognizing my true nature. While I have received many physical benefits from my Reiki practice, the mental and emotional rewards have brought the most growth. I still have a long way to go but I do find that I am more present with my friends, loved ones, patients, and most importantly myself.
Thank you
Paul
Reiki has given me a wonderful grounding in the present – a gift! [Pun intended] No matter what my current life event is – happy, sad, painful, joyous, ordinary, Reiki provides a way of Being with the experience. I have a response-ability to what arises rather than a re-activity to it.
Reiki IS my daily practice whatever part of the system I choose to use – mantras, meditations, hands on healing, chanting. I have learned how to shed that which no longer serves me and to step forward seeking that which will connect me to the Mystery. With Reiki, the journey is grand, enriching and de-LIGHT-full!
what do ‘I’ get out of practising the system of Reiki?… I am constantly amazed by the beauty, depth, love, wisdom, peace, harmony and clarity that Reiki brings. Embracing Reiki as a way of life and ‘becoming’ the essence of that energy keeps me completely centered and present on this incredible mystery tour that is life. Reiki gives us the tools to allow our innate being to manifest. I read a lovely quote once about an old tai chi teacher. She said that she had reached a point in her life where she could no longer go ‘higher or faster’ so she decided to go deeper. Reiki affords me the potential to reach depths beyond comprehension.
It’s beautiful and profound and incredibly humbling. For the gift or Reiki to the world I will be eternally grateful. <3
Hi Sharon.
Thank you. Yes we can always go deeper.
